All eligible candidates who applied for the web counselling process and were allotted a seat must read the important instructions for freezing the seats after Round 1 seat allotment. The candidates can freeze their allotted seats from the provisional seat allotments by logging in to their accounts on the official website - poly24.dtemaharashtra.gov.in. DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Counselling 2024: Instructions to Freeze Seats
Following are the important instructions and steps to consider to continue towards freezing the options after allotments here:
If a candidate has been allotted the seat of his/her first preference, the provisional allotment will freeze automatically and the candidate shall accept the seat so made.
Such candidates whose seats have been frozen will not be eligible to continue for further rounds of counselling.
The candidates who have been allotted a seat other than their first preference have to decide whether they are satisfied with that admission or not. If yes, they can select ‘Freeze’ option through their candidate login.
However, if the candidate is not satisfied with the allotment, he/she should not report to the allotted institute and wait for the next round of counselling. The seat of that candidate will become available for fresh allotment.
It is important to note that both of the candidates who have been allotted a seat other than their first preference are eligible for the next round of counselling irrespective of their decision to accept or reject the seat.
The candidates who have been allotted a seat in the provisional seat in the Maharashtra Polytechnic counselling result 2024 do not have to report to the ARCs for document verification and seat acceptance process after the allotment. All candidates have to directly report for admission at their allotted institute.
