CLAT Seat Allotment 2023:
As important it is to be allotted a seat, any errors made during the online reporting process can cause the candidate to lose their allotted seat. Hence, it is very important to follow the post-allotment procedures appropriately and within time. After the release of the allotment list on January 18, the link for online reporting will remain active until 10:30 PM of January 22, 2023. Within this time, the candidate must upload all the required documents, exercise freeze/float/exit options, and pay the confirmation fee. Otherwise, the candidate will not be able to retain their allotted seat.

The important instructions that must be followed by the seat-allotted candidates are given here:
The online reporting at consortiumofnlus.ac.in (accessible through the candidate login) is a mandatory step. Candidates failing to report will automatically lose their seat allocation.
The first step in the online reporting process is exercising the Freeze/ Float/ Exit options.
Freeze indicates that the candidate is satisfied with their seat allocation, wishes to retain it & take admission, and does not wish to go for further modification in round 2.
Float indicates that the candidate wishes to retain the currently allotted seat but also wishes to go for betterment in round 2.
Exit indicates that the candidate no longer wishes to participate in the counselling process and wishes to give up the currently allocated seat (if any). Such candidates cannot participate in any further counselling rounds.
Regardless if the candidate opts for freeze or float, the payment of the confirmation fee is mandatory. Exit candidates need not pay the fee.
The confirmation fee is a non-refundable fee of Rs 20,000/-.
The candidates also must upload all the required documents. The list of such documents for both UG and PG is attached below.
If a candidate fails to complete the online reporting process then:
The candidate will lose the currently allotted seat.
The candidate will not be considered for admission in any of the further rounds and they will be discarded from the counselling process.
