An International conference is going to be held at the department of physics at National Institute of Technology – Patna.
The organizing committee of the National Institute of Technology has cordially invited the participations in the symposium of the topical interest.
Besides the plenary & the invited lectures covering the “frontline topics” on the theme of the symposium by the distinguished speakers, some research papers for the oral & poster presentations would also be accepted at the conference.
The registration fee for the conference is is non-refundable in nature and includes the conference kit, dinner, lunch & tea for the three days. The payment of the fee should be made via DD (Demand Draft) in the favour of the ‘ICMDA – 2016’ that would be payable at ‘Patna’ or via electronic transfer mode on or before 31st of July - 2016.
The Department of Physics at the college (earlier Bihar School of Engineering) had been established in the year 1924 & since then had been functioning as a very important part of the institution.
The pressure areas in which the research work had begun in the department are Magnetic properties, Impedance spectroscopy, Biophysics and Fuel Cells. The faculty members who have undertaken the projects from the various funding agencies like CSIR, DRDO, DST, etc. The Department runs 2-Yr M. Tech., 5-Yr (Int.) M. Sc. and Ph.D. programmes.
