ICTAK (Information and Communication Technology Academy of Kerala) and Internshala have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to help students across the state of Kerala secure internships. Internships will play a vital role in improving the soft skills and technical competency in students. Through internships, students gain necessary experience that improves the employment quotient.
ICTAK is a popular social enterprise, which is created in a public-private partnership model. It has been working constantly to improve the employability of students. ICTAK believes that internships can make students ready for jobs.
ICTAK was founded in the year 2014 for imparting information, communication and technology skills as well as improve employability opportunities within the industry. Over the last few years, ICTAK has been realising its objectives with the exceptional support from Government of India, Government of Kerala and ICT industry.

Through its existing network of partners, ICTAK will work to create internships in Kerala. As a part of this MoU, Internshala will extend the benefits to all the colleges registered with ICTAK. The major objective is to help students with internship needs.
According to official information disclosed by Internshala, students can access over 4 lakh internships listed on Internshala free of cost. Internshala will also organise online workshops for students on internship preparation. Through Internshala, colleges can track the number of students who secured internships.
Recently, Internshala has also collaborated with TASK (Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge) and APSSDC (Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation). Recently, Internshala has launched India Employed initiative to support and help graduates to tune their career through internships with a PPO (Pre Placement Offer).
