CIMAGE College – Patna organized a combined workshop along with the Indian Institute of Technology – Guwahati. The seminar was organized on the topic ‘Internet of Things’ i.e IOT.
The conference was organized in order to make the students aware of the scope of the IOT.
The seminar was led by the faculty member of Indian Institute of Technology – Guwahati, Gautam Kumar. Mr. Kumar was at the college campus for conducting the seminar, along with 6 other team members.
The students who have performed better at the workshop would be given a certificate of expertise along with an invitation to participate in the National IT meet at the college, known as ‘Techvriddhi’.
The workshop was conducted in order to highlight the basics of the Internet of things viz., basic ordinals, U.N.O, Micro-controller, L.E.D and running motors. Also, the students were trained n switching the lights on and off with the help of sensors, apart from highlighting upon the mechanism to control water through a motor. The mechanism is also used to count the number of people standing in a big hall, pumping water into the water tank with the help of motor (by means of pumping). The mechanism has a lot of scope to today’s date and is used widely.
