Students of Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at Indian Institute of Management, Indore are going to organise ‘IndoreHacks’, a unique initiative to encourage and promote social entrepreneurship. The event will be organised on December 10, 2017. The registrations are open for the event and the deadline to submit the applications is November 25, 2017.
Under the initiative ‘IndoreHacks’, all the teams which will participate in the event will be provided with a case study on any social concern. Indore police department will provide the case study. The objective of the event is to bring all the social start-ups together. During the event, the potential investors will come up with innovative solutions for different problems that are being faced by the society and simultaneously introduce appropriate solutions.

The teams participating in the event will reside in IIM Indore. In a brainstorming session, the mentors will provide constant guidance to the team for 24 hours. The winning team will be awarded a cash prize along with all the resources necessary for the implementation of the ideas in the next six months. The police department of Indore will provide necessary support for the implementation of the innovative idea. In all, the event will provide a platform for budding entrepreneurs to channelize their knowledge, creativity and skills towards the welfare of society.

The organisers of ‘IndoreHacks’ are planning to introduce a fresh perspective to the current issues of the society to make a difference. IIM Indore is, in general, looking for solutions that are sustainable and innovative.
