The Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad has collaborated with the US Consulate General to launch an ‘ISB Envision’, a nation-wide accelerator programme to identify start-ups that are leading charge in terms of excellence and innovation.
The programme was designed by ISB’s Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) and DLabs. ISB Envision provides an opportunity to participants to be a part of the accelerator or incubator programme. Through this programme, ISB will support ventures which have the potential to bring a drastic change in the area of smart cities, education, climate change and women’s empowerment.

Rajendra Srivastava, Dean of ISB, explained that ISB Envision is an endeavour to create a socio-economic impact by supporting the future entrepreneurs to develop creative solutions to challenges and opportunities in the economy as well a capacity to overcome problems that are being faced by society and create value for our nation and citizens.
Through this programme, a total number of five selected ventures will receive incubation at DLabs for six months. These selected ventures will also have a chance to access ISB’s network of mentors and investors under startup initiative. ISB has also been conducting a three-month accelerator course for the early stage startups that have been operational for 12 months and above under the startup advanced programme.

Most of the students from various premier institutes across the country have been coming up with different innovative ideas. These students are supported by various government and non-government organisations. It is apt to say that it is time for India to witness various innovations.
