ISC 12th 2023: The Indian School Certificate Examination for AY 2022-23 is to be held from February 15 to March 31, 2023. For the exam day, to ensure the exam's proper conduct, the CISCE board has issued certain guidelines that all students must follow. Some of these guidelines are also for how the answers must be written so that such mistakes do not deduct marks during the evaluation. Students are advised to go through these instructions carefully and follow them accordingly.
ISC 12th 2023 Exam Day Instructions
All the important instructions for the exam day are enlisted here:
- Be present at the examination centre at least 30 to 45 minutes before the exam begins. Bring your printed, signed, and stamped admit card with you.
- The question papers will be distributed 15 minutes before the exam time. This time is given solely for reading the question paper.
- Except under extraordinary circumstances, candidates who are more than half an hour late will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Also, late students will only be allowed if a satisfactory explanation is provided.
- Duly fill out the top sheet of the answer paper. Do not scribble anywhere else on it. Ensure that all the details filled therein such as your Unique ID, Index Number, Subject, etc. are clearly legible.
- Use only a black/blue ballpoint pen to make entries on the top sheet. Do not use gel/ink pens.
- All the details mentioned on the top sheet must also be written on all extra sheets taken such as graphs, maps, etc.
- It is mandatory to leave a left-hand and a right-hand margin on the answer sheet.
- The same numbering system as that in the question paper must be used on the answer sheet. All question numbers must be written inside the left-hand margin.
- Do not write the question on the answer booklet.
- Answer only that number of questions as asked in the question paper.
- Answer the questions in a sequential manner.
- It is permissible to use the Casio fx-82 MS calculator.
- In case of any doubt, ask the invigilator. Do not converse with fellow examinees.
