The IT field is expected to see tremendous changes in the years to come. A senior official from National Mission on Education through ICT, MHRD, said that the field will see huge changes in another five years. He also added that this will also impact the academic systems.
Mohammed Kasim Khan, Mission Project Manager &Training Coordinator, said that monitoring practices in the education system will be replaced slowly and direct online practical assessment tests and analytical tests will be implemented in the future.

Addressing the gathering at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, he said that these are some of the changes that will boost the growth of the IT sector. The ceremony was to mark the signing of MoU between Sri Krishnan Institutions and IIT Bombay for Spoken Tutorial Programme.
Students will be assisted in enhancing their skills through assignments and projects that will enhance their employability. Khan also emphasized on the need to work on applications and improving IT/Software skills through training programmes. These programmes are aimed to train IT aspirants for the top organizations across the globe.
To plug in the advantages of IIT Spoken Tutorial Programme, many India universities and colleges are adopting the programme as part of their curriculum. The programme has already been signed by 115 affiliated universities and colleges.

The programme is part of the digital India movement that plans to make IT services and various software available to the general public.
