The offshore courses will provide JU teachers with an opportunity to create courses as per the local demand of students of the respective country. This is because the course curriculum varies from country to country, depending upon varied factors. Apart from that, Jadavpur University will give its teachers an opportunity to take classes abroad and gain global exposure, which will, in turn, broaden their horizon with respect to the different methods of teaching practiced in other countries.
Further, Jadavpur University is not planning to offer any new self-financing courses to Indian students in JU campuses nor are they planning to establish any offshore campuses.
Vice Chancellor of Jadavpur University will meet the Russian Consul General to discuss these proposals and to run similar courses with universities in their country. JU will also conduct courses in collaboration with Polish Universities in September 2018.
