Jamia Milia Islamia ’s law students won the best memorial award in KK Luthra International Criminal Law Moot Court Competition. The students were awarded the Best Memorial Award and a cash prize of Rs. 20,000. The International Criminal Moot Court Competition was conducted by the campus law centre, University of Delhi (DU) . The competition commenced on January 17 and extended till January 19, 2020. Students from various law schools participated in the Moot Court competition. Jamia also finished as octa-finalist at the 16th KK Luthra International Criminal Moot Court Competition that makes the news even more honourable for the college.

The Jamia team that won the competition consisted of three members. Nabira Farman, Vareesha Irfan, and Raza Husain Zaidi are the name of the students who represented the college at the competition and took away the coveted title with them. All of them are the second-year student of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.). It is a breakthrough that the memorial would be an exemplar for the upcoming editions of the aforementioned competitions. The victory of the college and students will also be marked on the webpage of the competition.
