Jamia Millia Islamia has started its 21-day teacher training programme for all the teachers of the Jamia Schools. The Faculty of Education, Jamia Millia Islamia and Jamia Secondaru School have jointly begun their 21-day training programme in order to help all the teachers of the Jamia Schools to get proper guidance when it comes to effective and quality education to all its secondary school students. This training programme has started from May 31, 2022 to June 20, 2022 . The purpose of the programme that is being held is mainly to increase the number of teachers and build their capacity in order to provide quality education to the students of Mushir Fatima Nursery School, Jamia Middle School, Jamia Senior Secondary School and Balak Mata Center.

The inaugural session was held under the guidance of Professor Atiqur Rahman, Principal, Jamia Senior Secondary School. He talked about the significance of this in-service training programme in order to enhance the growth and capabilities of all the teachers who will be guiding the students for their better pedagogical growth. This programme will also provide pointers to meet the diverse requirements of the students and hold online classes as and when required easily. The Chief Guest at the inaugural session was Dr. Najma, the Vice-Chancellor of Jamila Millia Islamia.
The other issues taken into account included the importance of capacity building of teachers, updating of knowledge, pursuit of education in the post-Covid era and efficient conduction of blended classrooms. Over the next 20 days, NEP 2020 will also be discussed and all the teachers will be provided the basics in order to continue ahead with it.
