Bangalore-based Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), announces admission for its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) & Master of Science (MS) programmes for the session commencing from 2016-17.
JNCASR is a multidisciplinary research institute that promotes world-class research in science and engineering covering broad areas ranging from Materials to Genetics Science. The institute provides a vibrant academic ambience for more than 300 researchers.

Eligibility for JNCASR Bangalore PhD and MS Programmes:
Candidates applying for the programme must have Master of Science (MSc), Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) / Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Technology (MTech) with a minimum of 50 percent from a recognised university or institute.
Selection Procedure of JNCASR Bangalore PhD and MS Programmes:
The selection will be based on the academic performance followed by an interview.
Candidate must have qualified in the GATE / GPAT / UGC CSIR - NET-JRF / ICMR - JRF / DBT-JRF /JEST / INSPIRE – JRF.

Candidates have to download the application form from the website of the institutes and type neatly on the downloaded format. Sign on it and send the scan copy by email to admissions@jncasr.ac.in.

Once the candidates are shortlisted they will be called for an interview. On the interview day, candidates have to bring all the original documents/ certificates /mark sheets along with the photocopies.
