JNU or Jawahar Lal Nehru University has officially released its academic calendar for the upcoming monsoon session. As per the notification, the classes for JNU will be resumed from 25th June and the winter semester exams will be completed by 31st July 2020.
JNU has released the academic calendar on the official website of the university and the students are expected to return to campus tentatively between 25th June 2020 and 30th June 2020. On returning, they will complete the pending examination and wind up their academic components.
The academic calendar released by JNU is tailored keeping in mind the monsoon session. The Vice-Chancellor of JNU, M Jagadesh Kumar, states that the academic calendar has been unanimously approved by all Chairpersons of Special Centres and Deans of Schools. As per the calendar, the Jawahar Lal Nehru University will commence the new academic session from 1st August 2020 irrespective of the examination finishing on 31st July 2020. The university has planned to provide provisional admission to the students for the next academic semester.

JNU has looked after the safety of the students and the nation by issuing that the entire process of registration for the monsoon session will be conducted online.
