The Jawaharlal Nehru Homeopathic Medical College which is run by Parul University has signed an MoU with the Central Council for Research in Homeopathy. The MoU was signed during the two international convention which was held on April 9 and 10 by CCRH. CCRH is a research organization under the Ministry of AYUSH on World Homeopathy Day at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi.
PG homeopathic colleges signed the MoUs in order to link education and research and the idea behind the MoU is to help with the research infrastructure, which will lead to further developments in research.

The council will also review the journey so far, taking into account the kind of challenges encountered and to come up with future strategies for developing homeopathy. The quality of education also needs to be improved to further improve the success rate of an average practitioner. Also, there needs to be production and supply of high-quality homeopathic drugs in the market, Dr. Parul Patel, the VP of Parul University and a homeopath said.
Another institute had partnered with CCRH last year. Ahmedabad Homeopathic Medical College, which is under Parul University had signed an MoU. As per Dr. Komal Patel, the paramedical director of Parul University said it is a privilege for them to contribute to homeopathy with 400 UG and 42 PG students passing out from DU every year.

Parul University is a private University which was set up in 2009 in Vadodara, Gujarat, and it was given the status of University in 2015.
