JEE – Advance Examination Held on Sunday

Country's most prestigious engineering entrance examination JEE-Advance held on Sunday 22nd May 2016, in two stages, First start from 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM , and other one from 2.00PM to 5.00 PM.

The examination was conducted at 108 test centers in the country and it is notable that exam conducted for 22 IIT’s in which there are 10500 seats waiting for students. In Rajasthan, 10 examination centers declared for exam of JEE – Advance. These cities including Udaipur are Ajmer, Alwar, Barmer, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Pali, Sikar and Tonk.

With admit card, students will go with Transparent black pen, Pencil, sharpener and rubber and any of one of his/her ID proof- ADHAAR, or Driving License or Voter ID. According to the rules, given in admit card, students had to go for exam only in sandal or in slipper. Shoes were not allowed.

Full sleeves shirt and large button will be banned. Other ornaments and accessories like, amulets (Tabeez), rings, nose rings, nose pins, bracelets, chains, and necklaces were also banned. Geometry box and electronic gadgets were also not allowed. The students were approved to wear only ordinary wristwatches. 7.30 AM was the reporting time for those who have paper at 9 AM paper, and 1 PM was the reporting time for those who have paper at 2 PM. At the centers, student’s biometric registration was done.

Career counselor said that, candidates Optical Response Sheet’s scanned copy will be available on website till 1st to 4th June, and Answer Key of JEE – Advance will be released at 10AM on 5th June.

The results of JEE – Advance will be announced on June 12 at 10AM. With that, 40 percent weightage of board and 60 percent wheightage of JEE –Mains score card will be merged and declared AIR (All India Rank) on 30th June
