IIT Bombay has officially released the information brochure for
JEE Advanced 2022
, and the exam is scheduled to be conducted on 3rd July, Paper1 from 9 am to 12 pm and Paper 2 from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. The registration portal can be accessed and students can apply from 8th to 14th June at
jeeadv.ac.in
. Students must have their 10th certificate/ birth certificate, 12th certificate, and relevant caste certificate (if necessary). The details regarding the age criteria and eligibility can be checked below.
The eligibility criteria needed for JEE Advanced 2022 are v as follows: -
Eligibility Rule 1 - JEE Mains 2022 Performance
Candidates must be there in the top 2.5 lakhs rank from JEE Mains B.Tech/ B.E.
The percentage of the candidates is 10% for GEN-EWS, 27% for OBC, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and the remaining 40.5% is open for all the other candidates. From each of the candidates, 5% of the horizontal reservation is for PWD candidates.
Eligibility Rule 2 - Age Limit
The candidate should be born on and after 1st October 1997. SC/ST/PwD are given 5 years relaxation i.e the students born on or after 1992 can also apply

Candidates can appear for a minimum of two attempts for JEE Advanced
However, only those candidates who appear for the exam for two consecutive years will be allowed for the second attempt
Eligibility Rule 4 - Academic Qualification
The candidate should have appeared or passed the class 12 exam in 2022/ 2021/ 2020
Eligibility Rule 5 - Early Admission in IITs
The candidate appearing in IITs in the past or discontinued, accepted the seat by reporting online or at the reporting center, or whose admission to IIT was cancelled due to any reason will not be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2022.
