NEW DELHI: As per the exam dates, JEE Advanced 2022 exam is scheduled to be conducted on July 3, 2022. However, in a recent notification dated April 6, 2022, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has rescheduled the JEE Main 2022 exam date for phase 1 and phase 2. The JEE Main 2022 exams RESCHEDULED to June and July respectively. Simultaneously, it is being predicted that the postponement of JEE Main will create an impact on the JEE Advance dates as well.
Students registered for JEE Advance are likely to face a preparatory dilemma due to time constraints. Moreover, as per one of the basic eligibility criteria of JEE Advance, a student can appear in the exam only after clearing JEE Main.

As per the revised exam schedule, the phase 1 and phase 2 exam will be held from June 20 to 29, 2022, and from July 21 to July 30, 2022 respectively. The previous notification stated, that the JEE Advanced 2022 registration will start from June 8, 2022. Hence, it is being assumed that the JEE Advanced registration date will also be extended; forwarding the JEE Advanced exam date to August/ September 2022.
About JEE Advanced exam
JEE Advanced exam is conducted by any of the 7 IITs, such as IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, IIT Guwahati or IISc Bangalore on behalf of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). In 2022, the JEE Advanced will be organized by the IIT Bombay to complete admission for the post-graduation courses.
