JEE Advanced 2023 Paper 1 Analysis: IIT Guwahati is conducting JEE Advanced 2023 today, June 04, 2023. The exam is split into two papers, each of 180 marks. JEE Advanced Paper 1 will be conducted from 9 AM to 12 Noon. As the papers are conducted in online computer-based mode, the analysis provided here is solely be based on the reviews of the students. Many students reported that the difficulty level of the paper was lower when compared to the expected difficulty level of JEE Advanced paper. JEE Advanced Analysis 2023 Paper 1: Student Reviews
The reviews on JEE Advanced Paper 1 obtained from the students are outlined here:- According to the first reactions obtained from the students, JEE Advanced 2023 Paper 1 had a difficulty level that was moderate and easier than that of the previous year.
- The paper was conducted for 180 marks as it was for 2022 and 2021 but had 51 questions unlike the 54 questions asked in 2022.
- Physics was said to be the easiest section but the 'More than one option correct' questions in Physics were tricky and slightly difficult.
- Chemistry had an equal weightage across Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry and was said to be moderate.
- Mathematics was again difficult and lengthy as it was observed throughout both sessions of JEE Main. Most of the questions were from Calculus and Coordinate Geometry.
- More weightage was given to the Class 12 syllabus in all three subjects.
- Overall, there were more moderate and tough questions and a lesser number of easy questions.

- Physics: 4 questions were from Heat and Thermodynamics, 3 questions were from Optics, and good weightage was also given to Mechanics.
- Chemistry: There were 6 reaction-based questions. 7 questions were from Organic chemistry and 5 questions each were from Physical and Inorganic chemistry. Most of the Matching List questions were from Physical chemistry.
- Mathematics: 5 questions were from Calculus, 2 questions from Probability, and 1 question each from Vectors & 3D, Sequence & Series, Trigonometry, Matrix & Determinants, and Binomial Theorem.
