JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility Criteria: IIT Kanpur has released the JEE Advanced 2025 eligibility criteria on the official website- jeeadv.ac.in.Candidates who are interested in appearing for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam, should refer to the eligibility criteria here. Unless they meet every category of the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria simultaneously, will not be eligible to fill out the application form or will not be allowed to appear for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam. Note, that the candidates who are living outside of India but have secured the OCI/PIO card before March 4, 2021, are also eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam.
JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility Criteria
As per the official notification, the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria 2025 depend on five criteria, which have been discussed in the given section:
1. JEE Main 2025 Performance
Candidates who will be among the top of the 250000 successful candidates in the JEE Main 2025 exam are eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam.

2. Age Limit:
Candidates who have been born on or after October 1, 2000, can participate in the JEE Advanced 2025 exam. However, the reserved category candidates will get 5 years of age relaxation. This means, that the reserved category candidates who were born on or after October 1, 1995, can fill out the JEE Advanced application form and can appear for the exam.
3. Number of Attempts:
The candidates are allowed to attempt a maximum of three times in three consecutive years to appear for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam.
4. Appearance in Class 12 (or equivalent) Examination:
As per the official notice, the candidates who have passed the Class 12 exam in 2023, 2024, or 2025, can appear for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam. Candidates who passed Class 12 in 2022 or before, cannot take part in the exam.
5. Earlier Admissions at IITs:
Earlier the candidates should not complete admission to any IITs under any academic program or accept an IIT seat IIT seat by online reporting/ physical reporting in the previous years. Also, the candidates whose admission got cancelled even after joining any IITs, are also not eligible for JEE Advanced 2025.
