List of Do's and Don'ts on JEE Main 2022

NEW DELHI: The JEE Main 2022 exam day guidelines will be released along with the JEE Main Admit card 2022 by NTA. The candidates appearing for JEE Main 2022 have to go through the JEE Main 2022 guidelines for avoiding mistakes unwillingly. The JEE Main 2022 exam day guidelines will put a light on the dos and don'ts for the D-day specifying the basic details.

JEE Main 2022 will be conducted in two sessions instead of four. Going through the guidelines will give clarity to the students ensuring a smooth process during the exam day. To know more about the exam day guidelines, keep reading the piece below.

JEE Main 2022 exam day guidelines

Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2022 are advised to reach the exam venue at the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.

D-day Guidelines

  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam premises after the closing time mentioned in the JEE Main admit card 2022
  • Candidates will not be allowed to exit the exam premises before the JEE Main exam time concludes
  • Eligible candidates who wear any special religious attire should reach the exam center prior to the reporting time for mandatory checkings
  • All the candidates should carry their JEE Main 2022 Admit card on the day of the exam
  • Without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without their JEE Main 2022 admit card
  • Before reporting to the respective exam centers, candidates should bring their passport-sized photograph pasted on the self-declaration form along with the left thumb impression
  • Social distancing has to be maintained by all the candidates on the exam day
  • All the candidates should log in to their respective computers and read the instructions
  • A pen or pencil and blank paper will be provided for rough work from the examination center itself which has to be returned after the examination. Candidates will have to write their name and roll number on the sheet.
  • Details like the signature, photograph, and other details have to be entered on the attendance sheet.
  • The PwD certificate issued by the competent authority has to be carried by the candidate to the exam center.

Items prohibited inside the JEE Main 2022 exam hall

The items prohibited inside the JEE Main 2022 examination hall have been listed below:

  • Any electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, trackers, calculators.
  • Paper, log tables, formulae, etc

Note: If any of the mentioned objects are found in possession of any candidate, the exam will be canceled, he/ she will be disqualified from attending any future examinations, and the possession will be seized by the authority.

Dess code for JEE Main 2022

Following are the items that are prohibited to wear o the exam day.

  • Thick soled shoes
  • Big button dresses
  • Metal pieces of jewelry
  • Ornaments

Code of Conduct: To be followed during JEE Main 2022

Following is the code of conduct that has to be maintained on JEE Main exam 2022 day-

  • Candidates should maintain pin-drop silence inside the exam hall
  • Any disturbance or unruly gesture will be considered misbehavior
  • In case of any discrepancies, the exam will be canceled and he/ she will be disqualified from attending any future examinations.
