The first attempt of JEE Main 2022 is likely to be held in April 2022, and any date on or after April 10 might be fixed. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is conducted four times a year to select qualified candidates for various engineering colleges of India. As the CBSE Board exams will commence on April 26 and other state board exams are also scheduled for April 2022, it can be expected that the JEE Mains Exam 2022 first session can be scheduled for April 2022 (tentatively).

JEE Main 2022 might be conducted only twice unlike the previous year when the exam was conducted four times. This year the examination will not get postponed unlike in 2021 due to a covid outbreak. The NTA will also release the JEE Advanced 2022 dates once the JEE Mains 2022 examination dates are announced.
