NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated the JEE Main 2022 correction window in online mode at its official website. The JEE Main 2022 application correction window is active from April 6, 2022, to April 8, 2022 (till 9 pm). Candidates who wish to edit/modify their particulars in the already filled JEE Main online application form for Phase 1 can avail the opportunity within the deadline.
Earlier, NTA notified that there will be no correction window facility this time for JEE Main 2022 candidates. However, keeping in view the numerous representations received from the candidates regarding the correction window facility, NTA has decided to activate the facility as a one-time facility only. Henceforth, candidates are advised to do the correction very carefully, as no further chance for correction will be given to the candidate

Fields for correction in JEE Main application form 2022
To correct the JEE Main 2022 application form, the candidates should visit the official website of NTA, jeemain.nta.nic.in, and the candidates can edit or correct the below-mentioned particulars:
Personal details: The candidates are able to edit/correct the spelling mistakes of the personal details.
Academic details: Information related to the academic details are to be edited.
Language of exam: The candidates can change the selected language of the examination from the given list
Change of paper: The candidates are allowed to change the choice of paper from paper 1 to paper 2 and vice versa.
State of eligibility and date of birth: These aforementioned can also be edited.
Category: The candidates can change the type of caste category. In case of changing the category from General to SC, then they will not get any refund. Nonetheless, if the candidates change their category from reserve to general, then they will have to pay the balance registration fees.

Correction window fee payment
To make corrections in the already submitted application forms, candidates have to pay an additional fee through credit/debit card or net banking/ UPI and PAYTM.
