JEE Main 2024 First Attempt Date : The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to conduct JEE Main 2024 Session 1 examination by the second or third week of January 2024 . Since CBSE examination will be held from February 15, 2024, it is highly unlikely that NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 examination at the same time. Also, the previous years (except for the pandemic years), JEE Main 2024 Session 1 was held in January, usually in the second or third week. Therefore, it is expected that in 2024, JEE Main First Attempt might be held in January only during the same timeline. Once the dates are made official, candidates will be able to check the timetable at jeemain.nta.nic.in .

JEE Main examination is held twice a year to provide two opportunities for candidates to crack the examination. While it is not necessary to sit for both sessions, doing so can increase the chances of passing the test. For candidates who appear for both sessions, NTA considers the best score obtained in both sessions to assess the most eligible applicants for admission into undergraduate engineering courses.
