Day 4 and Shift 1 of JEE Main 2021 Phase 3 has been conducted on July 27 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. As per the exam pattern (revised) of JEE Main 2021 , the answer for integer-based questions can be rounded off, and decimal points need not be taken into consideration. There will be 90 questions in the paper from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. Each subject will have 10 NAT questions, and the candidates can answer any 5. NAT questions have no negative marking for the wrong attempt. - As per the first reaction of students, the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate
- Out of 15 students who shared feedback, 95% of students considered Physics as moderate
- Out of 15 students, 80% responded that Mathematics was difficult and lengthy
- 40% of students reported Chemistry as Moderate while 46% of students reported it as Easy
- 66% of students reported that the Chemistry was partially NCERT-based
- There is one question from each topic in all subjects
- The mathematics section is a bit tricky and time-consuming
- As per feedback submitted by students to us, the Chemistry section was partially NCERT-based
- Chemistry and Physics were moderate
- Time management is important for the Mathematics section
- From Physics, there were 2 questions from Semi-Conductors
- Physical Chemistry has good weightage in the Chemistry section. There were 1-2 questions from Biomolecules
- Surprisingly, Organic Chemistry had fewer questions than other shifts
- There were more questions from Capacitors in Physics
- From Mathematics, Coordinate Geometry had more questions
