JEE MAIN 2023 ANALYSIS: After the evening shift has ended at 6 p.m., we have detailed here the complete analysis of JEE Main 30 January 2023 Shift 2 paper. It consisted of the subject-wise difficulty level, expected number of good attempts, topic-wise weightage, and weightage for each subject as per their difficulty level. This in-depth analysis is  based on memory-based questions while the other parameters of the analysis has been made on the opinions of the experts and the students.

There were three sections in JEE Main 2023 question paper. Each section had 30 questions divided into 20 MCQs and 10 NAT questions, only five are to be attempted. Every question carries four marks and as negative marking is applicable, one mark is reduced per incorrectly marked answer.

JEE Main 30 January 2023 Shift 1 Analysis:
  • The overall difficulty level of Jan 30, 2023 Shift-2 was moderate
  • Physics and chemistry section were considered easy by candidates whereas given the changing trends in the question pattern in thr past 2 days the mathematics section was seen to be on the trickier side and was said to be moderate and lengthy by candidates
  • There were questions from NCERT in physics and chemistry
  • Some of the questions asked in physics section were formula based
  • Chemistry had more weightage from class 12 NCERT in the organic section
