JEE Main April 2024 Exam Date

NTA has revised the JEE Main April 2024 exam date, which will start on April 3, 2024 instead of April 1, 2024. To avoid the clash with the CBSE class 12 exam dates, the NTA has taken this decision of date revision for Session 2 exam.

Is JEE Main 2024 Admit Card for Paper 1 Released?

NTA is yet to release the JEE Main Paper 1 admit card 2024. Usually, NTA publishes the JEE Main admit card 3-4 days ahead of the examination day. As per the schedule, the JEE Main Paper 1 exam will begin on January 27, 2024. Therefore, the aut. hority will release it by tomorrow, if it is not released by today

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2024

To participate in the JEE Advanced 2024 exam, the candidates should be among the top 250000 successful students in the B.E/ B.Tech paper of the JEE Main 2024 exam. Check out the seat reservation for the categories in the JEE Advanced exam here:

Will be JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Cutoff Higher than 2023?

As per the report, a total of 12.3 lakh candidates have already applied for JEE Main session 1 exam 2024; whereas the number was 11.6 lakh only in JEE Main 2023 exam (both in session 1 and session 2 exam). Therefore, it can be seen that the number of applicants in 2024 is higher than in 2023. Therefore, there is a chance of increasing the cutoff this year for all the categories.

Is JEE Main 2024 going to be harder than 2023?

Based on the past years' analysis, it can be assumed that the difficulty level of JEE Main 2024 session 1 exam will be nearly equal. NTA has not made any official announcement on the same. However, considering the previous year's trends, it can be assumed that the JEE Main Paper 1 admit card 2024 will be released tentatively after 8 PM.

Is it necessary to carry JEE Main City Allotment 2024

No, it is not required to carry on JEE Main exam. The same was released by NTA to let the candidates know about the exam centre addresses, so that the candidates who are living quite far from the exam city, can make travel arrangements. So that they can reach the exam hall by the time on the exam day.

Note, that candidates should carry the JEE Main admit card 2024 along with the Photo ID proof to the exam centre.

JEE Main 2024 Admit Card: Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates should obey the below-highlighted instructions inside the exam hall on JEE Main Paper 1 exam day:

• Candidates should reach the exam hall by the reporting time. Post that the candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre
• Candidates should submit the JEE Main Session 1 admit card along with the six blank papers (that will be provided for rough work) before leaving the exam hall at the respective drop box at the end of the test. If the candidates fail to do the same, then their answer sheets will not be evaluated
• Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam centre before it ends
• The PwD candidates should carry their disability certificate
• Candidates should wear dresses as per the JEE Main dress codes

JEE Main 2024 Admit Card: How to Retrieve Login Credentials?

Candidates should not be worried if they forget their login credentials. The same can be retrieved by following the below-highlighted steps:

• Go to the official website of JEE Main
• Click on the JEE Main 2024 admit card download link
• Choose the "Forgot password" link
• Answer the scrutiny questions correctly which were selected previously during the application form fill up process. The answers should be matched
• A code will be sent to the candidates at their registered mobile number
• Candidates will also receive a reset link at the registered mail ID
• Candidates should set a new password and use the same for downloading the admit card
