JEE Main 2024 January 24 Shift 1 Exam: Students' Feedback

• Mathematics section was moderate to hard level, and the section took time to solve. One should have a clear concept to answer the questions
• Physics and Chemistry were easy and moderate levels respectively
• 3-4 questions from Co-ordination
• 2-3 questions from p-Block
• 1 question from d block
• 3 questions from Semi-conductor
• The higher weightage section of Physics was Electromagnetism in Shift 1 exam

Mostly the questions were asked as per their weightage. Hence, candidates should refer the chapter-wise weightage very carefully to score good marks in the JEE Main exam. Also, some students identified that the JEE Main 2023 Session 1 exam was harder than 2024 shift 1 exam.

• If students need to do Biometric at the exam centre, then the students should reach the exam centre approximately 50 minutes before the exam time
• If the candidates have already completed the Biometric via Digilocker, then they can reach the test centre before 35 minutes

JEE Main 2024 27 January Exam Shift 2 Reporting Time

As per the instructions, candidates should complete the reporting to the exam centre for JEE Main 2024 shift 2 exam by 1.30 PM. Also, the candidates will be allowed to enter to the exam hall till 2.30 PM. Post that the candidates will not be allowed to enter to the JEE Main 2024 exam.

JEE Main Dress Code for Male

• To avoid the discomfort, the candidates should not wear any cloth consisting the metallic objects
