JEE Main 2024 Exam Analysis 1 February Shift 1: The final day of JEE Main Session 1 commences today with the Shift 1 examination. As available on CollegeDekho for all previous days, the JEE Main 1 February 2024 Shift 1 analysis will be updated here as well. Overall Last day's (Day 5) paper was Balanced and was on the Easy to Moderate Level. The Chemistry was Easy and comprised more theoretical questions (more Direct questions). In Mathematics, 1 question from Resonance Frequency (using beats and frequency) was asked which was depleted from the syllabus. Physics was easy where 2 questions from Capacitior were asked, unlike other exam shifts. Comparatively, Day 5 Shift 1 was a bit on the difficult side. As per reviews, Class 12th weightage was 60% and Class 11th weightage was 40%. The analysis will be provided subject-wise and will detail the difficulty level, topics asked with more weightage, and the expected good attempts of the paper. On Day 5 overall good attempts can be expected between 50 to 52.

The first reactions of the students for the morning shift on 1 February 2024 including the most-asked topics in each subject will be shared here:
- As per the initial reaction of aspirants overall Day 5 Shift 1 exam was Easy to Moderate.
- Overall the Day 5 exam was balanced.
- Assertion & Reasons dominated the Chemistry section out of which 4 to 5 questions were asked.
- 2 questions were asked from Capacitor.
- Chemistry questions were more theoretical-based.
- Physics and Chemistry were Easy.
- Compared to earlier shifts and days, less number of students appeared on Day 5.
- Mathematics was Moderate to Difficult and questions were lengthy to attempt.
- Almost 6 to 7 questions in the Mathematics section were tricky and time-consuming.
- On the last day as well major questions were from NCERT.
- Physics was balanced mainly questions were based on formulas.
- Questions from Organic Chemistry were more compared to Inorganic Chemistry.
- In Mathematics 8 to 10 questions were doable if you're calculation is good.
