Other IIT Entrance Exams other than JEE Main 2023 is GATE 2023
Candidates may note that admissions to IIT can also be done through admissions through GATE 2023 apart from JEE Main Exam 2023. JEE Main 2023: Two Phases
NTA conducts JEE Main Exam in two phases each year. Candidates are allowed to appear for both phases. However, here are some details on the JEE Main Exam 2023 phases:
- January Session: The notification and application form is expected soon. Candidates should be eligible to apply and pay the application fee.
- April Session: Candidates should have necessarily appeared for January Sessions to be allowed to appear for the April Session. The best of the two sessions will be taken into consideration to releasing the final merit list.

JEE Main Exam 2023: Exam Pattern for Paper 2B (B.Plan)
Here is the exam pattern for JEE Main Exam 2022 Paper 2B (B.Plan):
- The question paper will comprise of Mathematics, Aptitude test, and Planning test.
- All questions in Aptitude Test and Planning Test will be in MCQ format, whereas the Mathematics section will have MCQs as well as Numericals.
- Candidates will have 4 hours to attempt the exam.
