JEE Main EWS Cutoff 2023: Over the years, the cutoff for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) has been reducing, despite the overall cutoff increasing for the unreserved categories. This year, although the number of registrations for session 1 was in the same range as last year, but for session 2, the difference is as high as 3 lakhs. Hence, the number of unique registrations is expected to be more than 2022 and accordingly, the cutoff will mostly remain in the same range as that of last year.

Why is NTA delaying JEE Main Result 2023 Session 2? |
The maximum cutoff is the percentile above which any reserved student will be considered under the general category. For example, if EWS maximum cutoff is 88 percentile and a student belonging to EWS category scores 95 percentile, then he/she will get admission under the general quota instead of EWS. The maximum cutoff is likely to increase this year in comparison with that of the previous year.
