JEE Main January 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Session 1 exam of JEE Main 2023 from January 24 to 31. JEE Main 2023 Physics section is divided into two categories viz., MCQs and NAT. The Physics section consists of 20 MCQs and 10 NAT questions. Like the previous year's JEE Main, the candidates can answer any 5 questions out of 10 from the Numericals. Here is the marking scheme for JEE Main 2023 Physics -
- For every correct answer, the candidates will get +4 marks
- For every incorrect answer, the candidates will a deduction of a -1 mark
- No marks will be deducted for every unattempted answer

Here are some important points related to the JEE Main January 2023 Physics paper-
- Since 65% of JEE Main Physics syllabus covers Mechanics, Electric charges, and Magnetism, hence, prepare these sections accordingly
- The ratio of class 11 and 12 Physics syllabus is 40:60
- Two scoring chapters of the Physics paper are Dimensional Analysis and Modern Physics
- Try to solve the easy questions first, then start to solve the “heavy” questions
