JEE Main January 2023 Mathematics Topic Wise Weightage Analysis

JEE Main January 2023 exam is scheduled to be held from January 24 to 31, 2023. Candidates who are or will register for the JEE Main exams shall note exam pattern. As per the official notification, the question paper will comprise three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Out of which, the Mathematics section has always been more scoring and easy. So, it is essential that candidates complete the mathematics section well enough to score the maximum marks from this section. As per the marking scheme for the MCQs, each correct answer will add 4 marks and wrong answer will deduct 1 mark. Further, candidates will also have 10 NAT questions, out of which candidates will have to respond to any 5 of the questions. There will be no negative marking for the NAT questions.

Candidates preparing for the JEE Main January 2023 exams may note these additional preparational tips mostly for the Mathematics section:

  • It is advisable to complete the NCERT Class 11 and 12 books thoroughly before starting with any preparational books to clear the basics. Also, most questions are based on class 11 & 12 books, so candidates should prepare accordingly.

  • Candidates should read and memorize all the theorems and formulas to attempt all the questions quickly, if possible without calculations to avoid wasting time.

  • Practice is highly recommended for the JEE Main January 2023 Mathematics sections, as only practice will improve speed and accuracy.
