JEE MAIN 2023: With a vast syllabus, difficult topics, lengthy calculations, and far too many formulas, physics is a tough subject. But proper preparation and revision can help score as much as 90 percentile in JEE Main January 2023 attempt. To score 90 percentile, candidates roughly need to answer at least 17 to 20 questions correctly. If the trends of weightage distribution are observed, only 6 chapters get a weightage of 19 questions i.e., 76 marks out of 100. The rest of the chapters carry 0 to 1 questions of weightage, with some very topics such as units & dimensions, laws of motion, etc. If these few topics are prepared well, candidates can excel JEE Main 2023 physics paper.

JEE Main January 2023: Tips for Physics
Check here the important tips to score well in JEE Main physics paper in these last days before the exam:
The topics with the highest weightage in physics are:
Modern Physics – 5 questions
Heat and Thermodynamics – 3 questions
Optics – 3 questions
Current Electricity – 3 questions
Electrostatics – 3 questions
Magnetics – 2 questions
If you have prepared the above topics, it is suggested to revise them rigorously. However, if you haven’t, don’t begin with new topics now. Keep them aside for learning and practising in the next session. If done now, it would only add to the confusion.
Don’t just depend on these topics. Also practice those topics you are good at as backup.
Revise all the formulas at least twice a day. Also revise the values of constants.
Another important practice is to go through the previous year’s question papers. For the questions that you can’t solve, understand their step-by-step solution instead of undermining yourself as to why you can’t.
