JEE Main Paper Analysis 9 April 2024:
Day 5 of JEE Mains 2024 Session 2 examination concluded on April 9, marking the last day of Paper 1 B.Tech. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the exam in two shifts.
Shift 2 of April 9th exam was 'Moderate to Difficult'. According to some students, two questions from P-block's deleted syllabus were asked. More formula based questions were asked in this particular shift from Maths and Physics. Chemistry this time was relatively difficult compared to earlier shifts, as questions were a bit tricky. 5 to 6 questions were asked from inorganic in match the following format. As per examinees, the January session was easier than the April session. Mathematics was as usual lengthy and tough. Physics was the easiest and the majority of the questions were direct formula-based. Modern Physics dominated the section with 8 to 9 questions. Majority of questions were from 12th syllabus in the Day 5 Shift 2 examination.
Overall Day 5 Shift 1 was Easy to Moderate this time and was doable. No out-of-the-blue questions were asked. Physics was 'Moderate' with some tricky and conceptual-based questions. The Physics section had the maximum weightage of NCERT 11th syllabus. Compared to earlier shifts of April session, this shift was comparatively easy. Chemistry was 'Easy' and comprised more of theoretical questions. Inorganic Chemistry dominated the section followed by Organic and Physical Chemistry. Mathematics was 'Hard' and 'Lengthy' but the questions were doable. Majority of the students felt April session was slightly tougher than the January shift. The paper contained no questions from the JEE Main syllabus that was removed. Overall good attempts on Day 5 can be expected between 50 to 60.

- Overall Day 5 Shift 2 was on a difficult side compared to the other four days. It was Moderate to Difficult.
