JEE MAIN 2023: The first session of JEE Mains this year begins on January 24, 2023. In two shifts per day, the exam will be continued until January 31, 2023. For paper 1 and paper 2 candidates alike, the documents required on the exam day remain the same. Without submitting these documents, the candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. Along with these documents, candidates are to carry a transparent ballpoint pen (black/blue). Those who are appearing for Paper 2 B.Arch must bring their own geometry box, pencil box, erasers, and crayons or colour pencils for their offline drawing test. Sheets for rough work will be provided by the exam centre authorities.

The list and instructions regarding JEE Main exam day documents are given below:
1. JEE Main Session 1 2023 Admit Card
- The e-admit card assigned by NTA must be printed either in black & white or in colour on a plain white A4 sheet of paper only. Do not use legal or papers of other sizes. Entry with the e-admit card (soft copy) will not be permitted.
2. Self-Declaration or Undertaking
- It is downloaded along with the admit card. It should be printed as well and duly filled in and signed.
3. Valid Photo ID
As a proof of your identity, candidates have to bring any government-issued identity card. Documents such as your Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter Card, Driving License, Passport, etc. which have the candidate’s photo on them can be used as a valid photo ID.
Only original photo identity will be accepted. Printed or even attested copies will not be accepted.
4. One Passport-Size Photograph
- A copy of the photograph uploaded on the application form is required on the exam day as well. This photograph is to be affixed on the attendance sheet during the exam.
5. PwD Certificate
- If the candidate is claiming a reservation under the PwD category, a certificate issued by an authorized medical officer is required.
Candidates can carry a transparent water bottle and a transparent sanitiser bottle, not more than 50 ml. Other than these, no other things will be permitted including but not limited to pencils, clipboards, calculators, digital watches, electronic devices, etc.
