Results for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2017 have been announced today, 27th April 2017. Candidates who applied for the engineering entrance exam can now check their result and download the score card from the official website of JEE Mains 2017.
JEE Mains was conducted in both offline and online mode. The JEE Mains 2017 offline exam was conducted on April 2, whereas the computer-based test was conducted on April 8 and 9, 2017. Based on the score of JEE Mains, students will be shortlisted for the JEE Advanced 2017 Exam for admission in IITs.
Following are the steps to check JEE Mains 2017 Result:
- Go to the official site of JEE Mains exam
- You will be required to fill in your roll number and date of birth in order to login
- On logging in successfully, you will be able to see your score and rank
- Download your score card for further reference and counselling purposes
All the good engineering and technical colleges in India including the NITs and IIITs take students on the basis of their JEE Mains score. A centralised counselling is conducted for admission to various engineering courses.
The answer keys of JEE Mains 2017 were also released earlier this month. Students can also cross check their answers and verify their score.

With the announcement of JEE Mains 2017 result, students will now have to start preparing for the JEE Advanced Exam 2017. The exam will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and will be held on May 21, 2017.
