JEE Main 2023: According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), JEE Main 2023 session 1 exams will take place from January 24 to 31, causing concern among students whose board exams coincide with the engineering entrance exam. In addition, students are also upset due to the recently introduced eligibility criteria of 75 per cent. On Twitter, applicants are now trending #Jee23DemandsJustice and demanding the January session be postponed. They are expressing their frustration on social media and urging the first session of JEE Main 2023 to be held in April 2023. Thousands of students have shared their reactions on social media over the JEE Mains 2023 exam date.

In accordance with the JEE Main 2023 information bulletin, students are required to obtain an All India Rank to be eligible for admission to B.E., B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning courses offered by NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs participating in Central Seat Allocation Boards, provided they have scored a minimum of 75% in the Class 12 examination.

The JEE Main 2023 exam will be held on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31 by the National Testing Agency. Due to board practical exams in January and theory exams in February, students and teachers are jittery about the exam dates. There has been considerable dissatisfaction between the testing body and candidates. They have requested a postponement of the exam, among other things.

Here are some of the reasons why JEE Main 2023 aspirants are demanding postponement -

  • Droppers only get 4 months
  • CBSE practicals clashing in January.
  • Bihar boards are from 1st February. There's not enough space between the exams.
  • Many students didn't even practice for the mock test because the syllabus is incomplete.
  • Dates were announced late and only 40 days time gap given
