JENPAS UG 2022 Admit Card is yet to be released. It will be available soon on May 6, 2022. JENPAS is the West Bengal Government entrance examination for all those candidates who wish to get a degree in BSc Nursing from one of the premier nursing colleges in West Bengal.

JENPAS UG 2022 Exam Pattern for Paper 1 and Paper 2

JENPAS UG 2022 Exam Pattern for Paper 1 and Paper 2 have been released. Here is all you need to know about the same:

  • The JENPAS UG 2022 Exam has 2 papers namely Paper 1 and Paper 2;
  • Paper 2 is specifically designed for the admissions to the BHA courses and Paper 1 is designed for all the other courses;
  • During the application process, an aspiring candidate can only apply for Paper 1 or Paper 2 or both;
  • Paper 1 will have the following structure -

  • All questions will be multiple-choice type with four options each. Each paper has a time of 1 and a half hours each;
  • The question paper will be available in English and Bengali;
  • The syllabus will be based on standards 11 and 12 with the standard syllabi as provided by the recognised Board/Councils in India;
  • The Scoring Methodology is as follows:

Category 1 -

  • Only one option is correct;
  • Correct answer will give +1 mark;
  • Incorrect answer will give -4;
  • For answers with >1 correct answers, even one incorrect answer will make the whole answer incorrect;
  • Not attempting will fetch 0 marks;

Category 2 -

  • One or more options are correct;
  • Correct answer will give +2 mark;
  • For answers with >1 correct answers, even one incorrect answer will make the whole answer incorrect;
  • For partially correct answers with no correct answers marked and no incorrect answers marked, the marked awarded will be 2 x (number of correct options marked) / Total number of actually correct options;
  • Not attempting will fetch 0 marks;
