JIPMER MBBS 2017 Application Process to Commence from March 27

The application process for MBBS 2017 entrance examination conducted by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) will commence from March 27, 2017. As per the sources, the JIPMER MBBS 2017 examination will take place on June 4, 2017. JIPMER MBBS 2017 examination will take place in two shifts. Last year, the examination was held in one shift. On the other hand, JIPMER has also hiked the examination fee this year. Apart from these two changes, the pattern of the examination is same.

One of the officials of JIPMER explained that the application process would begin at 11:00 AM on March 27, 2017, and the candidates can apply until May 3, 2017. The examination will take place in two shifts, i.e., 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The detailed notification regarding JIPMER MBBS 2017 is available on the official site of JIPMER.

This year, the application fee of JIPMER MBBS 2017 is Rs. 1,200 for General Category candidates and Rs. 1,000 for SC/ST candidates. The institute also released the other important dates related to JIPMER MBBS 2017.

Eligibility: -

• The minimum age to apply for MBBS course at JIPMER is 17 and there is no age relaxation for reserved categories.
• The candidates applying for JIPMER MBBS 2017 must have passed 10+2 with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as the subjects of study.
• 50% marks in 10+2 is mandatory to apply for JIPMER MBBS 2017 for the candidates belonging to General Category
• 45% marks in 10+2 are required to apply for JIPMER MBBS 2017 for the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
