JK Business School begins its new PGDM batch 2021-23 with 'Buniyaad' - 50 days online foundation program aimed at strengthening the basic concepts of management and bringing together students from various backgrounds on the same page before they begin the course.
JK Business School (JKBS) has kickstarted its PGDM batch 2021-23 with 'Buniyaad' - a 50-days Online Foundation Program delivered through Google Classroom. It looks at enhancing the basic concepts of management and brings together students from various backgrounds before beginning their PGDM journey.
This online program covers a range of topics such as Personality Development, Skill Development, Basic Statistics, Accountancy, Economics, Economic Environment, and Basic Computing. It will also include a plethora of activities such as e-talks and webinars with the Industry Leaders, Philanthropists, Motivational Speakers, Founders, and Technology Frontrunners. The objective of this program is to help the students stay updated with the business scenario. To encourage and motivate the students amid the current difficult time, the institute also conducted various quizzes on management topics and awarded gift vouchers to the students.

Director of JKBS, Prof (Dr) Sanjiv Marwah said that to meet the modern-day business demands, it is important for the B-schools to tackle the curriculum as per the current industry requirements. This is where the Foundation program comes in and helps the students prepare well to handle new complexities which can crop up in the global business environment and become successful professionals.
The 2-year PGDM at JKBS comprises both hard and soft modules which help students prepare themselves for future challenges by experiencing real-world scenarios in a controlled classroom environment. The highest package at JKBS for PGDM batch 2020 (Domestic) was 16 lakh and for International was 24 lakh.
