JKCET Important Dates 2018: JK BOPEE (short for Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations) has published a notification declaring the JKCET 2018 Important Dates on 6th Oct. 2017. As per the announcement, JKCET 2018 exam is going to be organised on 22nd April, 2018 in offline mode (Pen & Paper based). It is a state-level entrance examination organised to offer admission in Architecture and Engineering programmes offered by colleges situated in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. The admission to medical colleges will be done based on NEET scores.
JKCET Application Form 2018 will be available from 1st February to 28th February 2018 in online mode on the official website of JK BOPEE. It is important for candidates to examine the eligibility criteria of JKCET 2018 determined by the conducting authorities before filling the JKCET 2018 application form . JKCET admit card 2018 will be issued only in online mode by the organising authority. JK BOPEE will hold the JKCET 2018 exam in the cities of Srinagar and Jammu only.

JKCET Eligibility Criteria 2018:
The JKCET 2018 eligibility criteria will be determined by JK BOPEE, the exam organising body. On the basis of JKCET eligibility criteria, candidates would be able to apply for the exam. To avoid any discrepancy, candidates should check the eligibility criteria described below:
- Candidates should be permanent residents of J&K state
- Candidates should possess domicile of J&K state.
- Candidates should complete 17 years of age on December 31, 2018, or before.
- Candidates should have passed 12th Class or an equivalent examination from a recognised board
- Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks (in case of General and OBC category) and 40% marks (in case of reserved category (SC/ST/PWD) in aggregate in Class 12 exam.
- Candidates who apply for Engineering programme should pass their class 12th with English, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics as their core subjects from any recognized Board.
- Those who are taking class 12 board examination or any other equivalent exam in 2018 can also apply for JKCET 2018 exam.
