Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has released a notice about the semester exams of the monsoon cycle and their evaluation. The university has announced that all the students who could not appear for the semester examinations that were conducted online due to various reasons will be permitted to sit for the offline semester examinations. These offline end semester exams will be conducted at JNU only after the university reopens after the nationwide lockdown.
According to the academic calendar of JNU that was issued on May 9, 2020, the online semester examinations for all courses and the evaluations of all the programmes should be completed latest by July 31, 2020. This was also clarified by JNU in the recent statement that it has published. Candidates can check the notice issued by JNU here.
JNU has stated that it will follow the guidelines set by the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Government of India strictly and will abide by all the rules and regulations. Any further information regarding the dates of JNU offline semester exams will be released only after the university reopens post the nationwide lockdown persistent due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It is estimated that Jawaharlal Nehru University will reopen in the month of July 2020. The dates of exams will tentatively be scheduled either in the last week of July or in the first week of August. In any case, students who fail to complete their examination process by July 31, 2020 after giving exams online must keep checking for the recent updates regarding the offline semester exams of JNU.
The new admissions of JNU through JNUEE will also commence once normalcy returns. The application process of JNUEE 2020 has been extended up to June 30, 2020. The exam date of JNU Entrance Exam 2020 is yet to be announced.
