JoSAA 2023 Important Instructions regarding Seat Acceptance Fee PaymentJoSAA round 1 seat allotment results has been released on July 1, 2023, on the official website. The candidates who have been allotted seats after round 1 should accept the seat by paying the seat acceptance fees (if they are satisfied with the JoSAA seat allotment). As per the guidelines, the candidates can participate in the document verification process only after the receipt of the seat acceptance fees (SAF) in favor of JoSAA 2023. As per the schedule, the last date for JoSAA 2023 fee payment after round 1 will be closed on July 4, 2023 (till 5 pm). If the candidates will fail to pay the seat acceptance fees and upload the documents by the scheduled time, then their round 1 seat allotment will be cancelled automatically. Also, the candidates will not be considered for further rounds of counselling.
If the payment status shows “Incomplete” even after paying the seat allotment fees, then the candidates will need to check out the payment status at the JoSAA portal regularly. Sometimes, it is taking time to be reflected in the portal even after making a payment, which may be due to a technical glitch. Also, there might be some other reasons to be displayed as an “Incomplete” payment.
If the online payment is failed, then the candidates should attempt the second time fee payment either by using the other payment gateway (SBI MOPS/ ICICI) or by changing the mode of payment (debit card/ net banking/ credit card/ UPI) before the last date.
Note, if the authority will receive multiple payments to JoSAA, then the additional payment received by JoSAA will be refunded after the due verification of excess payment.
If the payment status is successful, then the candidates should download the provisional seat allotment letter.
