Here are the important advisable instructions to candidates that need to be followed after JoSAA first mock allotment 2023 –- Firstly, the candidates must check if they secured mock allotment as per the first choice
- If the candidates are not getting the mock allotment as per the first choice, it is advisable to check the OR-CR (Opening and Closing Rank) of the respective college, category and course in the year 2022 and 2021
- Compare your rank with the previous years’ closing ranks for the respective college, course and category. Therefore, you can try editing the college options once again
- If you are getting the mock allotment as per the first option, there is 50% possibility of securing the same allotment in the first round that will be released on June 30
- While editing the options, it is advisable to keep a check of OR-CR of at least last two years (2022 and 2021) to have a tentative idea of the admission chances. The candidates must check category-wise and course-wise ranks for a better idea
- Wait for the second mock allotment till June 27 and check if you are getting allotment as per the preferred choice
- A lot of students edit choice filling after mock allotment, and there will be changes in mock allotment and real seat allotment result
