The result for the actual first round of JoSAA counselling 2023 will be available online and candidates can check the same as per the same process followed for the mock allotments, i,e., by accessing their JoSAA login using their application number and password. What After JoSAA Seat Allotment 2023?

Candidates will receive seat allotments depending on their merit, category, seat availability, and preferences for which they have to opt for any one of the following options.

• Freeze: Select this option if you are satisfied with the allotted seat and do not wish to participate in further counselling rounds.
• Float: Choose this option if you accept the allotted seat but are open to the possibility of upgradation to higher preferred institutes or courses.
• Slide: Opt for this option if you want to confirm the allotment but also keep the option open for admission to a higher preferred course within the same institute.
