JoSAA Round 4 Seat Allotment Released: Direct link, seat acceptance & reporting process

JoSAA Counselling 2022: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has released the JoSAA 4th round seat allotment result on October 8, 2022, in online mode. To access the JoSAA seat allotment result candidates can visit the JoSAA official website, josaa.nic.in and enter their application number and password. After checking the result, candidates should freeze, float, slide their seats till October 10, 2022. and pay the fees to lock their seats. After that, the document verification round will be conducted on October 10, 2022.

Steps to check JoSAA 4th round seat allotment result

Candidates can follow the instructions given below to check the JoSAA round 4 seat allotment result.

Step 1: Go to JoSAA's official website at josaa.nic.in.

Step 2: Select the option "View Seat Allotment Result Round 4."

Step 3: Enter your application number of JEE Main/JEE Advanced 2022, password & security pin.

Step 4: Click the "Login" button.

Step 5: The JoSAA 2022 seat allocation results will be shown on the screen.

Step 6: Download the allotment letter and take copies of it.

What after the JoSAA 2022 seat allotment result?

Candidates will have the following options when the JoSAA seat allotment, 2022 outcome is revealed.

Freeze: If a candidate is content with his or her assigned seat and does not want to engage in any further JoSAA counselling 2022, it is best to choose the freeze option.

Float: If a candidate is satisfied with the JoSAA seat assigned in round 4 by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority but would want to be considered for other institutes in the following rounds of the JoSAA seat allocation, the float option should be used.

Slide: The candidate accepts the provided seat but is open to being accepted into a more desirable degree at the same institute.
