The Jaywant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (JSPM)’s Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Institute of Technology is taking a lot of heat and is knee deep in controversies. The Institute has allegedly not released a lot of student’s scholarship as they have some hidden agenda. A former student of the technology institute has filed a complaint against the institute as they have not released his scholarship.

The organisation ABVP i.e. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad that works for student rights has pointed out that the institute has not released scholarship of students belonging to the category of EBC short for economically backwards class. The organisation says that the institute received the scholarship money in the month of May 2016 but they still have not released it.

The management of the institute claims that most i.e. 85 to 90 percent of the scholarships have been released and the rest will be released as soon as the students submit the following necessary documents.
- KYC
- IFSC Code
- No dues certificate from the college and more
A minimum of 25,000 students have received the scholarship and the rest will be given once they complete the procedure.
