All India Institute of Medical Sciences – Patna celebrated its annual inter-college sports week from 14th March 2016 to 17th March 2016. Various sports were played amongst the teams of different colleges.
The sports that were played at AIIMS Patna in Kaizen ’16 are:
- Football
- Badminton
- Chess
- Carrom
- Volley Ball
The closing ceremony of the sports festival of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna was observed on Thursday, i.e 17th March 2016.
The AIIMS Patna was declared the overall winner of the tournament. AIIMS Patna stood at the first position in the badminton category while, Patna Medical College and Hospital stole the thunder in cricket with Dr. Abhishek Sinha being declared as the man of the series. The man of the match of the final match was given to Rhoit Saini of 2012 batch of AIIMS Patna.
The football finals were won by Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) while Patna Medical College and Hospital finished as runners up in the tournament. The prizes were given away by the director of AIIMS Dr. G.K Singh and the sports co-ordinator of the college Dr. C.M Singh.
