The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) 2022 notification in online mode. The authority will conduct the Karnataka DCET 2022 on Applied Science and Applied Mathematics and the eligible Diploma holders can choose any engineering branch for completing the admission to 2nd and 3rd semester under the lateral entry scheme for the academic session 2022-23. If the candidates are seeking admission to the B.Arch course, then they should not appear for the DCET 2022 by KEA. The authority will start the Karnataka DCET application form 2022 fill-up process from tomorrow, September 27, 2022, at the official website, kea.kar.nic.in.

Karnataka DCET 2022 Exam Pattern
This year, the Karnataka DCET exam will be held in two sections, such as Applied Science and Applied Mathematics. According to the revised paper pattern, 50% weightage of the exam will be given to the DCET rank and the rest weightage will be for the Diploma marks (Polytechnic). The DCET exam will be conducted in three hours.
- For each question, the candidates will get 1 mark
- No negative marking is there for every incorrectly marked answer
